Un petit historique en anglais :
For many years Department 56 was known for for creating
winter villages. Many collectors wanted to display their pieces for more
then just a few months of the year so Season's Bay was created in 1998. It was
not the buildings that made this a unique village. It was the accessories set
in the Victorian era featuring people engaged in year-round activities. A
variety of plants and trees reinforced the seasonal designs. Another unique
feature was the diminutive size of the people. Accessories were created in
pewter (étain) in order to present them in proportion to their residences. This is the
only village in which this is true.

First six buildings came out in 1998:

In 1999 the following buildings were introduced:
